Lasagna with Grey Mullet Fillet ( Lithrini ) and Prawns

Ingredients:

  • 450g Boiled Green Lasagna
  • 600g Grey Mullet Fillet ( Lithrini ) (Foodpax)
  • 200g Cooked Peeled Shrimps ( Foodpax )
  • 1 Tbsp of Cognac
  • 1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • 5 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 60g of Butter
  • 2 Leeks cut in thin slices
  • 120g of Flour
  • 4 Glasses of Milk
  • 100g of Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 100g of Grated Greek Hard Cheese ( Kefalotiri )

Preparation:

  1. Cut the Lithrini Fillet in small pieces and mix them with the cooked peeled shrimps, the cognac, the Lemon Juice, salt and pepper
  2. Melt the butter in a small pan and add the olive oil. Sauté the Leeks for about 2-3 minutes until they wither
  3. Add the flour and cook for about 2 minutes
  4. Add slowly the warm milk and stir until a thick sauce is made
  5. Add the Lithrini Fillet and the shrimps
  6. In a baking-pan make layers starting with lasagna and ending with cream
  7. In between add the mixture of cheeses which you grated earlier
  8. Add the final cheese on top and bake in the oven at 170°C until cheese has melted and a golden brown color has been made
  9. Serve Warm
